Stay Hydrated. Buy cases of water and distribute to your players on the way to the course—fluids are good after last night’s partying and purchase by the case is a lot cheaper than the club house or cart girl.

Bulk Up. Some groups buy beer and booze in bulk and split the cost, others feel the split penalizes light or non-drinkers so think that through in advance.

Have a common area. Our hospitality suite is an important part of the tradition of our event. We have a two man hospitality committee. Everyone in the event submits an order for what liquor, mixers and munchies they want. The committee pre-buys and stocks the suite. After showers and before dinner our group gathers to review the day’s results, trash talk and enjoy drinks and munchies.

Vodka Traditions. "Our group has many martini drinkers. We have developed a tradition where each of the martini guy brings a different addition – the Kettle One comes out of the freezer every night to be matched up with olives stuffed with blue cheese, onions soaked in cognac, exotic olives from Italy, etc".
